Tempo – Eternal Life – 8/10
The mysterious LIFE Foundation claim to have discovered the key to eternal life. Potential candidates for the program are invited to their secret testing centre, where a lucky few may discover the truth.
Our host, Rob, welcomed us in full character in a warm, if not slightly creepy way. I genuinely mean that as a compliment, it was a great entrance.
After a quick briefing of what we were letting ourselves in for we got stuck in. We were a 2 for this room when we’re normally a 5 so we had a bit more work to do today but in a most enjoyable way. There was a good variety of puzzles and some really niche delivery systems in this game and a few surprises thrown in for good measure. Some of the puzzles in particular were some strengths of our missing team mates and we’ve recommended they do the room themselves if they’re in the area sometime. For those who have been to Tricky in Essex, the room had that kind of vibe to me. A good all rounder.
We had a really nice chat and a drink on the terrace after the room as it was a lovely, sunny day and Rob could not have been nicer. A thoroughly enjoyable day!
We’d recommend an experienced 2 but maybe a 4-6 for newbies.
