Room Escape Southend – Zombie Christmas Dinner – 6/10 – *Room closed, company open*
Sitting round the table for Christmas dinner when all of a sudden there are zombies breaking down the door. Whaaat? Will you escape being eaten yourselves?
Played – December 2017
After we played this game we found out that it was more of a horror game aimed at families and we think that actually it would be good for families. The zombie wasn’t overly scary and the puzzles weren’t overly difficult. It also had quite a Christmassy ending. Unfortunately we are not kids and personally would have preferred something a little more challenging, hence the score is a little lower than usual for Room Escape Southend for this one. That said, not all of their rooms are child friendly so please check before booking.
The decor was of the usual high standard that we’re used to with their games, they really do make a huge effort to keep you immersed. Our host was Father Christmas himself and he was really good. Never in your way but just there to gently nudge you in the right direction if needed.
We think teenagers might enjoy this the most. We only had a team of 3 on this day though and we found that plenty. Maybe 4 players tops.
