Illuminati Escape – Jackpot – 8.5/10
A NASA researcher had an addiction for gambling and was tricked by the dark Illuminati:
He lost the blueprints for the top secret quantum computer in a game in the casino.
There is nothing we can change about this. You can only do one thing:
recover the plans before the Illuminati move them out of the casino in Macao!
They will arrive at the casino in one hour. You have exactly one hour left. One hour to find the vault, crack it and get out of the casino…
Our final room of the day at Illuminati as unfortunately their other room was booked up. Gutted! After a coffee and another lovely long chat with the owner about all things escape roomy, we headed over to China for Jackpot. It’s another excellent room. The stories at Illuminati all link, which is a really nice touch, but you don’t need to do the rooms in a particular order to appreciate it. The decoration is another bang up job, even down to the smell… they burn incense before you go in!
As with all the games at Illuminati, the puzzles were both varied and thematic. There’s never anything out of place, and again, what small amount of tech there was, worked beautifully.
We found this the weakest of the three rooms we did that day, and yet, we gave it 8.5, which tells you all you need to know about Illuminati. The ending was particularly good, just as they were in Titanik and Alien grill.
We cannot recommend Illuminati highly enough. I just want everyone to play there games so that we can talk about them without spoiling anything. Please do not miss them if you’re heading that way.
