In a world where the infected kill & eat the living, how much time does anyone really have?

In a secret facility a team is working on a cure to the zombie virus but communications are down and we need to send in a response team…

CAN YOU AVOID INFECTION & HELP SAVE HUMANITY?

Played – January 2019

As you enter the reception it is nicely themed, with nods to the different rooms they run. We were greeted warmly by Nicky and after exchanging pleasantries we were left with Rob, Bobby, Bob one of these names is right, who would be running the game for us. It was clear that he loved escape rooms and that always gives you confidence that you are going into a good room.

Onto the room, as we enter it is set out nicely with furniture and objects appropriate to the theme. This room has a great variation of puzzles and as a team of five there is plenty for each you to concentrate on separately or in pairs. So much so that later into the game some of us were having to check what had been done and how. The number of puzzles is fortunate as up to 8 players are allowed to play the room.

Clues are not given out in a trigger happy way and the most you can expect is the odd hint. Proper clues were left for us to solicit ourselves, this was particularly pleasing as some games masters can be over eager.

Overall was a great, varied room and kept us busy for 55 minutes! The flake and bake cafe close by is a perfect for a coffee and cake after (or between games if you are like us and have to do at least two games in a day!).

Theme/Immersion – 7.5
Puzzles/Variety – 8
Fun Factor – 7.5
Difficulty – 8
